Biography

Glenn Jay Rawson is the son of Orson and Janice Rawson. He was born and raised in southeastern Idaho, and grew up on a ranch. He joined the Church when he was 18 years old and served a mission to the Iowa Des Moines mission.

He married Debbie Hemsley in the Provo LDS Temple. They have seven children, 5 girls and 2 boys. The two oldest are enrolled at BYUI.

He has a Bachelor degree in Wildlife and Range Science from BYU and Masters in Educational Administration from ISU. He is finishing a Doctorate degree in Political Science and Constitutional Law.

Brother Rawson's joy is his family. He loves running, and being outdoors. He also enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and can be heard Sunday mornings telling stories on the radio. He has been especially influential in the lives of many teenagers over the years, and has spoken at numerous firesides and youth classes.

He directed the "Give Me Liberty" theatrical presentation in Idaho Falls, Idaho in 2002 and 2003.
